First, we research the claim to discover who the legal claimant is. Then, we thoroughly research any other lien holders who could possibly claim a portion or even all of the funds. Finally, we use skip tracing services to locate the rightful claimants and contact them by phone and/or by mail.

We Prepare The Paperwork and File Your Claim

We will send you a few pages of documents to be signed. We then put the complete claims package together and file the claim with the proper agency. We cover all expenses and legal fees and we ONLY get paid upon successful collection of your claim. If we are unsuccessful (very rare), it costs you nothing.

We Fight For Your Claim

We continually follow up with the agency throughout the whole process to keep the claim moving forward and to respond to any additional requests made by the agency. Because we specialize in this area, we know how to navigate through each agency’s procedures to claim and recover that money in a timely manner.

We Ensure Your Claim Money Is In Your Hands

Once the agency approves the claim, we then notify you of the good news. The agency will send out a check and we will send you your funds within 10 days.

Timeframe: Once we get your signed paperwork back, we will immediately file your claim with the appropriate government agency.  From that point, the length of time can vary by each state as well as the complexity of the claim.  Typically, the funds will be issued in around 3-4 weeks but can take up to 3 months.

Contingency Fee Agreement

This is an agreement between you and our company. It spells out the terms and scope of our claim recovery service. It also defines how we work on a Contingency-Fee basis which simply means we never charge you anything up front and we only take a fee if and when we are successful.

Assignment of Interest in Tax Deed Sale Excess Proceeds

The government agency requires authorization for us to work on your behalf to claim your overage funds and this document accomplishes that.

Letter of Direction

This letter defines who the parties are and directs the government agency on how to process the claim and disburse the funds. This helps avoid mistakes that can slow down the processing of your claim.

Affidavit of Heirship
(only for heirs of the deceased)

This is a sworn statement used to establish ownership of property when the original owner dies intestate (without a Will).
